  • Alice: Owner, Class Instructor & Personal Trainer

I’m Alice mum of 2 to a wild 8 year old and a newborn and I am the founder of Iron Ladies Fitness am a personal trainer as well as an online female lifestyle & Fitness coach

I have recently finished university where I have been studying Sports Science & Coaching. I am currently training towards my pre & post natal qualifications to enable me to help all of you mums out there as well, as The Women’s Body course to better guide females through their training whilst going through the menopause.

My coaching strategy is built on empowerment and education. I strongly think that knowledge is power. Thus, I make sure that my clients are knowledgeable about the science behind proper nutrition and exercise. As a busy mum myself, I am mindful that the road to fitness can be challenging, I also place a high priority on developing an inspiring and encouraging relationship with each of my clients.
My ultimate goal is to inspire women to be strong and healthy.

  • Amanda: Class Instructor & Personal Trainer

My fitness journey began in 2020. I was significantly overweight I knew I had to sort myself out for the sake of my own health and for my 2 boys. I got myself an online coach and trained from home for the first nine months losing the majority of my weight in that time.
I then decided it was time to get the confidence and head to the gym and I’ve never looked back since. I dropped seven stone and became the strongest version of myself and found a passion for health and fitness along the way.
I am over four years into my fitness journey and a lot has changed for me during that time, and I competed in powerlifting which has been a huge highlight.
Working at Iron Ladies is just the best I have met some of the most wonderful And interesting people. I love, watching other women rediscover themselves, and gaining confidence, becoming stronger and just all round, trying to better themselves. Everyone is on their own journey and it’s a pleasure to watch you all grow.

  • Ali: Class Instructor & Personal Trainer

My journey into the fitness industry started with Taekwondo, I owe so much to martial arts, it gave me so much confidence in myself. I left my job in Tesco to do a 2 year Higher National Diploma in Sports & Exercise Science and then a PT instructor course in 2005. Since then I’ve been a PT and running my own classes. I love how exercise can change your life, not just the physical change, but a whole different outlook on life!! Working at Ironladiesfitness is a fabulous experience, meeting ladies who all turn up for themselves, the atmosphere is so supportive. It’s a great community to be a part of.

  • Rebecca: Class Instructor & Personal Trainer

My journey started in 2017 when I was first allowed to start racing sidecars. My dad told me that he would only let me race if I was committed to becoming stronger, so that’s exactly what I did. It may not have been effective at the time due to my improvising every time I walked into the gym but I was committed. It wasn’t until a few years on I started to understand how to plan for the gym and track my workouts and this is when I started to discover my love for the gym.

I headed to university to complete my undergrad in coaching and have since moved on to a postgrad in strength and conditioning. It wasn’t until my second year of uni, when I was introduced to S&C, that I discovered this is what I wanted to do. Throughout my placements and work I always saw the interest and value within S&C and want to continue within this area.

I started at Iron Ladies because I saw the value in a women only environment and wanted to support these women achieve their goals. In addition to this, I knew I would have the support of Alice to help push me further by discussing new options and strategies as well as her support of me continuing at uni.

Since starting at Iron Ladies my confidence has grown massively, I am constantly surrounded by such inspirational and supportive women; staff and clients! I have been able to develop great relationships and have seen women grow in many ways. I hope that my journey with Iron Ladies continues to grow!
